Paige is 16 + years old and one of our permanent fosters due to her health issues. She is a tiny little dynamo and knows she should be able to get whatever she wants. And like the good food slaves we are she does. Paige will let you know if she is displeased with you, she will bark/yell if you disturb her naps, if her food is late, if her food is boring, if her diaper needs changed or your slow in putting on a new one. We adore this little firecracker who came in to our care last October when her senior owner could no longer care for her. Paige had a tumor the size of a golf ball hanging off her neck, and was in need of a dental, but due to how thin she was and her age, we were not sure she would survive it. The wonderful Vets at Animal Hospital of Waterford, did bloodwork and gave us meds for the dental infection. She put on a little weight  and 2 weeks later she had the tumor removed and a dental. She came thru wonderfully and has put on  weight  and is feeling pretty feisty for her age. She loves when her Auntie Teri comes over and takes her for walks and brings her special treats. So with a monthly shot for arthritis  and all the yummies she wants life today is good. We have been well trained by many seniors  in the past 26 yrs. Droopy loves our senior hounds!
