Bessy is such a sweetheart. She loves to play and will initiate play with the other bassets. She is so tiny and loveable, very cuddly. Bessy gets along wonderful with all the other dogs, and does ok with the cats when it is just her, but not with other Bassets around. She seems like she will do much better in a home with another pet she could play with. Bessy is still a baby herself so a family with older  children would be best as she likes to play rough at times. She is also a counter surfer, however, we are slowly breaker her of the habit and also of begging. She is definitely house trained with a doggie door,But will need training if you don't have one. She has no problem eating and enjoys her treats also. She knows several commands such as sit, speak, paw, and lay down. She is a wonderful young girl looking for the right family to love her... how about You??
